More on Lighting

If you are manipulating light and light sources correctly when you take your picture or video and no one notices, then you are an artist. Good lighting is an important element to storytelling in both still photography and video and you can manipulate your audience to focus on one thing or another depending on how you light your shot. It can tell a story, and it can create a mood or an environment. In order to know how to do this, you need to know what lighting instruments to use and how to use them. The following is the Power Point lesson on Lighting Instruments.

While it's not appropriate to put music over a news package, some video formats call for it. Montages, movies, etc. are some such formats.
